About FBC

The Finsbury Business Centre (FBC) is a flexible work-space hub set up in 1983 on the site of a former 1930’s printworks, which now also houses the London Metropolitan Archives. It was one of the first serviced office providers in London and has helped a variety of diverse and interesting businesses to grow and flourish over the years.

A bit about us

Run by two brothers, former Honda exec Hugh and historian Ian (that’s us in the deckchairs), FBC truly is a family business. We grew up painting the walls of the building once designed by our father specifically to support small businesses and returned to continue the tradition today.

Clerkenwell is one of London’s hidden gems.

An eclectic village atmosphere with a rich history of design and creativity, and within striking distance of Soho, Silicon Roundabout and the City.We are open to helping startups by providing space in exchange for company equity.

Easy access to major London airports

The addition of the brand new Elizabeth Line station at Farringdon has truly put Clerkenwell on the map

London's most established dining spots

Exmouth Market is home to some of London's most established dining spots including the Quality Chop House (est. 1869), Moro and local favourite Santore.

“We rented with Hugh & the team for just over a year & they were brilliant. Always on hand to help, especially with the move in & out of the unit. Would highly recommend.”

The basics

Located in the heart of Clerkenwell, one of London’s most historically creative areas, the FBC comprises 40k sq. ft. of space, divided into 60 individual units. Each unit comes newly decorated, but completely customisable upon occupancy. Units are available on a monthly licence, with this fee covering rent, business rates, and super-fast internet. Services such as electricity, IT support and telecoms are charged in arrears.
